Gorilla Forest Camp is the only camp located in the remote and untouched wilderness of Uganda's Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. This beautiful and dramatic landscape is made up of dense forest, jagged valleys, waterfalls, lakes and impressive mountain ranges.
The camp offers unique and luxurious accommodation in the heart of the wilderness. Guest areas are cozy and inviting with wooden floors and warm lighting. The camp has a bar and dining cottage as well as a natural raised platform offering spectacular views over the rain forest.
Accommodation at Gorilla Forest Camp is made up of spacious luxury tents which all include en suite bathrooms, featuring large bathtubs looking out into the forest. All tents also have large wooden decks with beautiful views, where guests can enjoy private dining.
There are plenty of activities at Gorilla Forest Camp for the adventurous traveller: amazing forest walks are available where visitors can spot over 350 bird species, rare forest elephant, giant forest hog and 11 kinds of primates. The forest also contains over 200 butterfly species.
Of course, there is also gorilla tracking available where a maximum of 8 guests will venture deep into the forest. Once the gorillas are located guests can spend one hour with them before returning to the camp.
